"'After that tribulation ... they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds ... and He will ... gather together His elect...' (Mark 13:24-27)"

Yeshua's foundational teaching on the end times is found in all three synoptic gospels (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21). In them He summarizes and interprets the teachings of all the Israelite Prophets. The Apostles based their writings on the subject from what Yeshua taught.

In Matthew 24, Yeshua spoke twice (v. 31, 40) about a supernatural event in which believers will be lifted into the air by angels (Rapture). In addition, the Scriptures speak of a horrible time of trouble (Tribulation), in which:

  1. Evil will be exposed

  2. Believers will be purified

  3. Miraculous revival will take place.

Some teach that believers will be lifted up by the angels before this time of difficulty, or in the middle of it. However, no verses point to a "pre" or "mid" tribulation rapture; all verses clearly describe this event as taking place "afterwards."

1. Yeshua taught that we have to "endure until the end" (Matthew 24:13).

2. Some will have to "flee into the mountains" (verse 16). There is no reason to flee if you are not there!

3. God will "shorten the days for the sake of the chosen" (verse 22). He shortens the time of the end for the saints; He does not remove them before the end.

4. Yeshua warns the believers "not to be deceived" or "fearful" during this time (verses 4, 5, 25). That would make no sense if we are not here.

5. The time of the angels coming will clearly happen "after the Tribulation of those days" (Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:24). Only "then" (verse 30) will the Second Coming and Rapture take place.

6. Yeshua compared the event to Noah's flood, which took place "on the day" that Noah entered, not beforehand (Matthew 24:38).

7. Yeshua similarly compared it to the destruction of Sodom, which happened "on the day that Lot went out" (Luke 17:29) - not a moment earlier.

Let's be prepared and victorious in the end times!

"... just the fact that we were going today to the horses was an expression of the Father's love."

One of Revive Israel's neighbors here at Yad HaShmona is the King David Therapeutic Riding Stables. Together we have been developing a unique partnership over the last number of years that is impacting families and children, and especially single parent families.

Testimonies:

Ophir: "It was actually my special needs child that started horse riding therapy. Then two of my other children went to the summer riding camp. It was really wonderful. Because of the situation we went through with their father leaving, there is still a lot of pain. But this really helps them build confidence. They're happy! I think the main thing is to take care of the fears that they have, and every time they have a lesson they feel more secure. When my son went through a hard time this morning, just the fact that we were going today to the horses was an expression of the Father's love. So I want to thank Revive that they are there to hear God's heart for those children and to bless them and to let them know they are loved and cherished."

Veronica: "I have two handsome boys, aged sixteen and fourteen. This summer Ariel suffered from a very deep depression. It was just something that I didn't know how to deal with. Somebody told me about these stables. Ariel started riding and it totally changed his life. He said to me, 'Mom, I wake up every morning, and I have a reason to get out of bed.' This has been a beautiful change in his life and for so many children. I am very, very thankful for Revive Israel. Without their help we would not be able to pay for this."

Your generous financial partnership is impacting these single-parent families and children here in the land of Israel. We want to say thank you from all of our hearts for joining with us. In 2016 we helped eleven children participate in therapeutic riding courses, and for 2017 we've already committed to 40 children. That's a huge jump forward, and it's going to cost around $40,000. We invite you to join us this next year in this important project.

"Maybe it seems too simple."

Valerie and I are part of a local congregation here in the Yad Hashmona Messianic Kibbutz, from which we want to share a short message for 2017.

Three wise men from the East made a very long journey two thousand years ago. Upon arriving at their destination, what did they find? A baby in a stable. This may have seemed disappointing in human eyes ... just a helpless infant? For this they traveled such a long way?!

However, this helpless infant was indeed born to become the king of Israel and bring salvation to the whole world.

We may think of the place to which God has brought us as pretty unimpressive. We may see the work that God is doing in our lives in the same way. Maybe it seems too simple. Maybe it looks disappointing. But the truth is that we should view ourselves through God's eyes.

This year let us appreciate and value the work that God is doing in and through us. Let us cherish the place that God has brought us to in the kingdom.

Thank you so much for advancing the kingdom of Yeshua together with us.
