Dear Faithful Friend,

We did it! We had our first meeting in our new hall and it was a great beginning! The work is not finished and there is still more that needs to be done. The children are meeting in a temporary space as we build the separate children's wing. The kitchen is not yet finished. The new chairs are on order, the new floors still need to be installed and the glass wall as you enter the hall will be changed. In spite of all that, the room was "ready enough" to receive us.

As expected, the central location in the heart of the city resulted in new people coming. All of the 150+ chairs were full (we can fit 230) and some people were forced to stand. In spite of a few other "rough edges", the joy, life and anointing of the Lord came upon us as we celebrated His goodness and provision.

"One picture is worth a thousand words", so if you click on the picture to the right, you will be able to view a short presentation of the wonderful journey we have passed through to reach this new beginning. As you will see in the pictures, we had the blessing of having our "youth group" worship team lead us on this meaningful day.

Unity

We will be sharing the space with two other congregations and we believe that a testimony of unity between our three congregations is part of God's purposes for us in this building. The Lord said that wherever two or more agree on something - it would be done. How much more so if our three congregations can walk together in love, unity and humility. Please join us in praying for God's purposes to be manifest as we draw closer to King of Kings and Melech Ham'lachim.

Increasing Tensions in the North

Two days ago, Israel carried out a preventative operation against a team of terrorists who were planning an attack along our northern border. In an amazing tribute to Israeli intelligence, the lightening attack against a convoy of vehicles killed an Iranian general and a major Hezbollah commander, along with other terrorists. The humiliating attack has enraged Hezbollah and Iran and both have promised retaliation. Israel has moved some of its "Iron Dome" defense systems to guard Haifa and have put northern residents on notice. Military leaves have been canceled in the North and the nation is anxiously waiting to see if these events will lead to an armed confrontation. Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the entire nation. The enemies of Israel are many but we praise God that he who guards Israel never sleeps nor slumbers.

Elections

In the midst of all of these tensions and threats, Israel is in the process of electing a new government. The Knesset (Israeli legislature) has disbanded and once again, the airwaves are filled with campaign advertisements for the many different political parties. On March 17, the nation will vote to decide which parties will join together to lead this nation in what promises to be one of the more difficult periods that Israel has ever faced. Please join us in praying for the results of the coming election. We know that God is the one who sets Kings over nations. He alone knows all that lies before us. Pray that His chosen leaders would bring forth a government that would have the wisdom needed to confront and overcome these many challenges.

Kehila.Org

Several weeks ago, I met with Joseph, a young Israeli whom we have known and respected for many years. This dynamic young man has a deep burden for the unity of the Body of Messiah in the Land and a desire to use his technical and entrepreneurial skills to achieve this end.

Zion's Glory would like to help him realize this goal by letting you know about kehila.com; a website that he has developed to provide a unique service for the Body of Messiah in Israel and throughout the nations. The Hebrew word "kehila" means community or congregation. Kehila.com is a community website that aggregates new articles and videos from over 100 Israeli Messianic related websites, all in one place. You can sign up for free for the weekly newsfeed email. It is a great way to stay connected with what is happening among many ministries within the Body in Israel. There is also a searchable directory of congregations, ministries and Messianic-owned businesses in the Land. We highly recommend that you check it out at www.kehila.com.

It is truly a privilege to be chosen to be alive and in Yeshua in this profound moment in the history of the Earth. Like Peter, we must each find the faith to "step out of our boat" and step into what God has put before us, though the waves are large and foreboding. But He who promised is faithful. He has said that He will be with us always, even unto the end of the age. In this we find our confidence and in Him, we put our hope. May the Lord bless you as you live to the fullest the days that He has entrusted to you.

We send you our love from Zion,
