Dear Faithful Friend,

We are back from a very special time in Switzerland. We are grateful to the International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem that sponsored and organized this week for us. We were a small group of Arab and Jewish leaders from Israel along with representatives of the leadership team of the ICEJ from Europe and Taiwan. In all we numbered around forty plus adults and children of all ages.

It was really an amazing time on every level. The hotel was small and beautiful, owned and managed by a Swiss believer and our group filled up every room. Each day we met together after breakfast and again following dinner. Through these times of sharing personal testimonies, we were able to get to know each person in a deeper way. There were activities and tours planned for most days with a couple of free days where we could do whatever we wanted. The time together was very encouraging and we are very blessed by the many relationships that were formed.

Unity

The unity that we felt during our time in Switzerland seems to be a part of a major move of God that is being brought forth in this day as we work together to establish the "One New Man"; consisting of Jews and Gentiles who love the Lord, love each other, love Israel and respect and honor the unique and individual call each one has.

The Jewish Feast Days

The Fall Feast Days are approaching and we see that God is also using this precious time to bring us together in greater unity.

Rosh HaShana, the Biblical Feast of Yom Teruah, the day of the sounding of the Shofar, leads off the Fall Feast Days that foreshadow the second coming of Yeshua. Pastor Basam, a leader of an Arab Congregation is organizing the second annual Jewish-Arab celebration of this holiday. Last year we had an amazing time of fellowship and worship with the believing Arab community and are hoping for even more this year. Please pray for this incredible historic event and if you are in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening, September 19th, please plan on participating.

Yom Kippur - The Day of Atonement

On the evening of September 29th, the entire country will come to a standstill as the nation repents for its sins and cries out to God for mercy in the coming year. Over ten years ago, Revive Israel along with Ahavat Yeshua started hosting an annual thirty hour time of prayer, fasting and intercession.

Over the years, the number of brothers and sisters wanting to participate from numerous congregations has increased dramatically. Again we see this involvement of diverse congregations as a manifestation of God's heart for unity in his Body.

Please join us in praying for this coming event. As most of Israel gathers to ask forgiveness for their sins and another year of life, we will be celebrating the power of Yeshua's forgiveness in the lives of all who believe. We will also pray for a Spirit of Revelation to be poured out upon the unbelieving Jewish community. May their hearts be opened to God's merciful truth and may the powers of darkness that blind their eyes and harden their hearts be broken.

Succot - Feast of Tabernacles

We are involved in two exciting events that will be occuring during the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem.

The International Christian Embassy will be sponsoring their yearly conference in Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles in early October. There is an increasing interest in this event and this year over 6,000 Gentiles from across the globe are expected to attend and to grow in their love and appreciation of Israel, even as we Jewish believers will grow in our love and appreciation of what God is doing throughout the nations. We are one people, with one Father and birthed of the same Spirit. It is only as we come together in love and humility that the purposes of God can be manifest.

Welcoming the Glory of God We are also working with a group of Israeli leaders that are planning a conference called; "Welcoming the King of Glory" which will take place towards the end of the Feast of Tabernacles. Unlike many other conferences held in Jerusalem, this one is being planned and hosted by the leaders and congregations in Israel. Normally, the nations come and have a conference and invite the local body. This one is being initiated by the Body in Israel and we are inviting the nations to attend. This is a first in the Land! It is our hope that the Body in Israel will be strengthened as the many parts come together and work in unity, and that this conference will be a great blessing to the nations as they participate with the Body and exalt His name together!

This growing unity is a necessary development that must precede the return of Yeshua. God is not returning for a fragmented and divided group of people but for one Body joined together in love. We know that none of this can be achieved through natural ability. We praise God that He has given us His Spirit and as we yield and submit to His leading and move in His life the longing of our hearts will come to pass in this day.

And we thank God that you are there to stand with us and support us. Please be in prayer over the coming weeks as we labor to see God's End Time purposes manifest in Jerusalem in our day.
